Cancellations
Cancellations received 90 days prior to your ski date will be refunded in full less a $200 cancellation fee per seat.
Cancellations received within 90 days of your arrival are 100% non-refundable unless the space can be filled - in which case the following conditions will apply:
- Inside the 90 day period prior to your ski date, in the event that you are unable to attend a tour with us, you may fill your own spot with another guest. We ask that the office be informed of the name change as soon as possible. A $50 administration fee will be charged per replaced seat.
- You may request K3 to try and find a replacement skier for you. If a full paying replacement can be found, your payment will be refunded in full minus an administrative fee of $200 per cancelled seat. Cancelling guests may also choose to have K3 fill the seat(s) at a discounted rate of their choosing, in which case K3 will refund the discounted rate paid by the new guest less a cancellation fee of $200 per cancelled seat.
- No refunds within 1 week of your trip arrival date.
If the seat is not filled, your full payment is 100% non-refundable. There will be no exceptions to this policy.
K3 reserves the right to cancel ski dates at any time. Under no circumstance is the company responsible for the clients’ inconvenience or travel expenses. K3 is responsible for transporting guests from Last Spike Lodging to the lodge, but guests are reminded it is their responsibility to be at the Last Spike Lodging at the designated time.
If guests are unable to attend due to an injury or illness, our cancellation policy will apply. We strongly recommend guests purchase Visitors to Canada Medical and/or Trip Cancellation Insurance. We can recommend Lifestyle Financial Services for all your insurance needs.
Refunds
K3 does not give refunds or credits for those days when ski quality is not good. Just as we do not charge a premium for those deep-powder days when skiing is excellent, we do not refund or reduce rates when ski conditions are poor.
We try hard to make the best of what nature gives us, but there is only so much we can do as we cannot control the weather.
In the event of skiing conditions being very poor due to weather (for example, rain at all elevations), we may (at our sole discretion) cancel the ski program. In this event you may choose to book with us again later in the winter if spaces are available. If you do rebook we will apply your full, unused payment balance to your new booking. If another ski date does not work for you within the same winter, we will issue you a full refund for the cancellation.
We will issue a pro rata refund if you are unable to ski due to a mechanical breakdown and we are unable to provide a backup cat in a timely manner.
