Lodge Information

The lodge is a new timber-frame structure. Upstairs there are 8 cozy bedrooms, each bedroom has a full size bed with a 3-piece ensuite bathroom. Downstairs there is a change room equipped with individual lockers, boot and glove dryers. Also downstairs is a well appointed kitchen where our chef will prepare all the meals. Meals are served family style around the large dining room table. The lounge with fireplace is a good place to enjoy the craft beer we have on tap or you may prefer to choose from our selection of fine wines from around the world.  The lodge has limited cell phone service and we do have a satellite phone available too.  The daily rate includes your own private bedroom, all meals and gratuities, and small group skiing with usually 8 (and never more than 10) in the cat.

Lodge Routine

Guests will meet at Last Spike Lodging, 4885 Lybarger Road (43 kilometers west of Revelstoke, about a 30 minute drive) by 5 PM on the day before your first day of skiing. Look for Last Spike Lodging, on your right, just a 1/4 mile or so after you turn off the highway onto Lybarger Road.  From the secure parking here transportation will be provided to the lodge.  Travel time from the Last Spike Lodge is about 45 minutes.  After checking in dinner will be served at 7:00 PM. On your first morning, starting at 8:30 AM, there will be a review of Snowcat Safety and an Avalanche Rescue practice. On all other days we will depart from the lodge around 8:45 AM returning to the lodge in the afternoon between 3:00 and 3:30 PM.

The lodge is now completed and opened in January 2020.
