Terrain

Our tenure is in excess of 33,000 acres and this winter the area we will be skiing and snowboarding is on a mountain known locally as K3. We ski and snowboard the entire mountain and the varied terrain provides an excellent mix of runs. Many of the runs are treed with a nice pitch, but we do have wide open alpine areas where you can enjoy long cruising runs. As well, you can experience great skiing in the South Park burn and when stability is good we have some exceptional steep tree skiing on slopes up to 50 degrees! We will also be skiing and snowboarding in the new 4 Mile summit area where you can enjoy steep tree runs of over 2000 vertical feet.

Our runs average 1500 vertical feet and range from 1200 to 3000 vertical feet. Most of our runs are high up on the mountain, ending at around the 5000 foot elevation so we generally have good snow conditions all winter. Our highest elevation is over 7400 feet and the lowest point is around 4000 feet. Also, more than half of our runs are North and East aspect and this helps ensure good snow in all weather conditions.

We are located in the Anstey range of the Monashee Mountains and so enjoy some of the best snow there is. We also get a lot of snow, averaging around 50 feet each winter.
