Join us for an unforgettable backcountry lodge and cat ski adventure in the heart of British Columbia! We offer trips from late December to late March each winter, ranging from 2-days to 4-days in length. Small group, a cozy lodge, and ski terrain right outside the front door!
K3 has two backcountry lodges- the South Park Lodge and the Far Side Lodge- each of them nearly identical timber-frame structures. They were constructed using second growth trees from a local BC sawmill, and are built to safely support the weight of the snow. Upstairs there are 8 cozy bedrooms, each bedroom has a full size bed with a 3-piece ensuite bathroom. Downstairs there is a gear room equipped with individual lockers, boot and glove dryers. The lodge has a well appointed kitchen where our in-house chef will prepare all the meals. The lounge with fireplace is a good place to enjoy the craft beer we have on tap or you may prefer to choose from our selection of fine wines from around the world. The package rate includes your own private bedroom, all meals, and small group skiing with no more than 8-10 guests in the cat and lodge.

Guests will meet at Last Spike Lodging, 4885 Lybarger Road (43 km west of Revelstoke, about a 30 minute drive) by 5:00pm PT on the evening before your first day of skiing. From the secure parking here, transportation will be provided by K3 to the lodge via truck and snowcat - travel time from our meeting location is about 45 minutes. After checking in and getting comfortable at the lodge, dinner will be served at 7:00pm. After a good nights sleep and a hearty breakfast, starting at 8:00am on your first ski day there will be a review of Snowcat Safety and an Avalanche Rescue practice. Then it's time to ski! We eat our lunches and snacks in the cat in between runs to maximize our skiing throughout the day. On all other ski days we will depart from the lodge each morning around 8:45am returning to the lodge in the afternoon between 3:00 and 3:30pm for apres ski and high fives! Departure will be around 4:00pm on your last day, returning to your vehicles between 4:30-5:00pm.
